Summer in the USA 2026 recap

This year, three New Life campuses hosted a total of five SUSA students from three different cities in Spain. These students came from a variety of backgrounds, and their understanding of Jesus Christ and the Gospel was just as diverse. Through relationships built with host families, shared experiences, and countless conversations, we saw God working in the hearts of these students.

One student came believing that Christianity was a cult. Through conversations and relationships with their host family, questions were asked, hearts were softened, and that student is now reconsidering that belief. They returned to Spain and will continue exploring their faith and prayerfully pursue discipleship.

Another student came independent and self-reliant, believing there may be some kind of divine beings. During their time here, they heard about the one and only Creator God. Again, questions were asked, meaningful conversations followed, and the door was opened for continued discipleship as they returned to Spain.

Praise God! Rocks were removed from rocky soil, and seeds were planted. We may never know the full impact of a few weeks spent sharing our homes, our families, our faith, and our lives. But we do know that God is planting seeds. Thank you for praying, giving, serving, hosting, and supporting SUSA. Your partnership is helping create opportunities for students to encounter Jesus and hear the Gospel in a way that can change their lives forever. Please pray about participating in this gospel opportunity next summer!
