On the basis that we serve a covenant-making and covenant-keeping God, we joyfully and resolutely enter into covenant-community with one another. We promise, by God's grace and through the indwelling presence of His Spirit: ● to live lives in keeping with the truth of the gospel (Gal. 2:14), continually repenting of our sin (Rom. 8:13; Col. 3:5) and walking by faith in “newness of life” (Rom. 6:1-14; Eph. 4:23-24; Col. 3:9-10); ● to care for and promote both the purposes and unity of God’s church through regular attendance (Acts 20:7; Heb. 10:25), corporate and private prayer (Eph. 6:18; 1 Thess. 5:17), ministerial service (Eph. 4:11-16), financial giving (Mal. 3:8-10; 2 Cor. 8:3-9; 9:6-11) and by submitting to its spiritual authority (1 Thess. 5:12-13; 1 Tim. 5:17; Heb. 13:17); ● to commit ourselves, in tangible relationships and small group communities, to fulfilling the “one another” commands found throughout the New Testament; ● and to passionately participate in God’s kingdom-bringing mission by serving, influencing and evangelizing the lost people and communities around us (Matt. 9:36-38; 28:19-20; 1 Cor. 9:19-22).
